Karl’s Day

November is a busy time at the Dailey House! Both properties, Lupfer and Lakeshore are going through upgrades and improvements to make your next stay more enjoyable that ever! Here is what we are doing at The Dailey House at Lupfer.

In the master bedroom, we are creating a feature wall behind the king size bed that replaces the white wall. Even though we just painted the master bedroom this year, we wanted to add that extra touch of warmth and wow factor! The master bathroom will get a new coat of paint too. We love new paint! In the family room we are switching out the two love seats for one large leather couch. We also are putting in two leather chairs for your comfort. As usual, we go through all the small appliances like coffee makers, juicers, toasters, electric hot cake griddles to make sure they work and look new-if not we replace them! Dishes, silverware and glassware all are replenished to make your dining experience wonderful. Last I want to mention is bedding, we deep clean all bedding and replace all sheets with new hotel quality sets. Your comfort is important!

The Dailey House at Lakeshore gets a fresh makeover too! Outside we recently added new Adirondack outdoor chairs, a 150 foot privacy fence, and a new propane fire pit. November we rake up all the twigs and branches in an extensive yard cleaning to be ready for your next visit! Inside all bedding gets professionally cleaned and sheets replaced. The kitchen is completely gone through with replacing glassware, flatware and small appliances that look or need attention. I also want to mention we recently purchased a new washer/dryer set for your convenience.

As you can tell, we take pride in providing you with an enjoyable and comfortable experience. Along with staying with us, we also want to give you tips and insight on the many places to explore in the area. Here is a picture taking at the top of Whitefish Mountain Ski resort in summer. My father-in-law, Karl, posed here with the flags of Montana, United States and Canada. Karl is 93 this year and still doing great! It was easy for him to ride the gondola up to the top, have a beer and sandwich and enjoy the scenery. He lived in Canada when he was young and worked for a logging company.
